Explore Migration began long before it had a name.
Our Registered Migration Agent has worked in the Australian migration industry for more than nine years, gaining experience across a broad range of visa matters and working with people from many different backgrounds and circumstances.
But this understanding of the migration process goes back even further.
Having immigrated to Australia at six years old, our Registered Migration Agent, Louka, experienced first-hand the uncertainty that can come with starting a new life in another country. Watching her family navigate the challenges that came with this process created an understanding that cannot simply be learned from legislation or textbooks.
Migration can involve difficult decisions, uncertainty, financial commitments and long periods of waiting. It can affect where someone lives, where they work, their family and their plans for the future.
That personal experience continues to shape the way Explore Migration approaches its work today.
Where it started?
After years working within the migration industry, it became increasingly clear that there was an opportunity to create something different.
The migration industry requires a high level of professionalism, accuracy and legal knowledge. However, the experience of the client matters just as much.
Within larger and more process-driven environments, it can sometimes be difficult to provide the level of individual attention and ongoing communication that clients need. Once an application has been lodged, clients can be left feeling as though they are simply waiting for an outcome, rather than continuing to have someone in their corner.
Explore Migration was created to offer a different experience.
A practice where professional standards and legal accuracy remain at the center of the work, while clients are still treated as individuals. Where questions are welcomed, communication matters, and clients are kept informed about what is happening with their matter.
The goal was never simply to create another migration business. It was to create a practice built around the type of client experience that we believe migration advice should provide.
